Sharing by Pastor Maggie

Administrative vs Ministries
Remember that one of our roles is administrative where we write minutes, calculate offerings, check through the accounts and so on. On the other hand, we should be even more focusing our ministry roles (not to neglect our administrative role as well). Ministries are to head towards achieving our vision.

Discipleship / Mentor-Mentee Model

We ought to find a mentor who is also being mentored. Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ (1 Corinthians 11:1).

Be Humble (It was said repeatedly for many time, if not the most)
Philippians 2
3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves,
4 not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.
5 In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus:
6 Who, being in very nature God,
    did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage;
7 rather, he made himself nothing
by taking the very nature of a servant,
    being made in human likeness.
8 And being found in appearance as a man,
    he humbled himself
    by becoming obedient to death—
        even death on a cross!

Healthy Relax Mechanism
We ought to find our own way of relaxing so that we would be overstressed. Sports could be a good idea for guys.

Last but not least, we can actually enjoy leadership! We will enjoy when we have tasted the goodness of God and we share with others. So let us be committed in our quiet time with God.
