Passing on the faith to the next generation

1. Establish a good relationship (v7)
- quality time is based on quantity time
- spend time: sit, walk, lie down, get up
- Eg: learn cooking together, it's worthwhile. Can let next generation learn how to cook and at the same time build better relationship

2. Establish an example (v6)
- we must first change ourselves
- honesty and vulnerability is far more effective than a disguised perfect person (reality of faith)
- when we share our struggles and request for prayers, our next generations see how we learn to depend on God
- Eg: why you stole a pen from the shop? Aren't the pens I brought back from the company sufficient for you to use?

3. Establish a foundation for faith (v7)
- impress (talk), talk, write
- impart the principles of the Bible using all the available resources (movie, shopping and etc)
- do not push the responsibility to the church am grandparents
- Eg: take turn in leading prayer or leading devotion, serving together

Conclusion
- 2 Tim 1:5
- I have been reminded of your sincere faith, which first lived in your grandmother Lois and in your mother Eunice and, I am persuaded, now lives in you also.
